Lewandoski Signs Bayern Pre-Contract.

Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has signed a pre-contract agreement to join ex-teammate Mario Gotze at Bayerna Munich in June.

The Bavarians broke the news on their Twitter pagethat the 25-year-old Poland international has agreed terms on a five-year deal and will arrive at Bayern on a free transfer when his contract expires.

Lewandowski won the German Supercup with Dortmund in a 4-2 victory over his prospective club Bayern in July last year. He has scored 11 Bundesliga goals in 15 appearances this season.

Bayern chief Karl-heinz Rummenigge told the club's official website he was delighted with the deal.

"We are very pleased that this transfer is successful," Rummenigge said.

"Robert Lewandowski is one of the
world's best striker, he will strengthen the squad of FC Bayern and give us a boost.

"

Mario Gotze joined the last season treble winners and current world club
champions for £31.5m (€37m) last April.

Lewandoski confirmed in November he will sign a pre-contractual agreement with Bayern but denied it later on.

He won the 2010/11 and 2011/12
Bundesliga title with the Westfallenstadion outfit and, also the
2012 DFB Pokal cup, since joining from Lech Poznan in 2010.

His four goals against Real Madrid in the semi-final of the 2012/13 Uefa Champions League stared Dortmund to the Wembley final, where they lost to Bayern.

Dortmund occupies the fourth position in the league standing, six points behind leaders Bayern.
