PHOTO OF THE DAY: What Is Okoro Doing Here?
Hey Okoro, make sure you know what you are copying from that young boy.. otherwise your name is sorry!
*LAUGHS*
Jonathan's Special Assistant, Reno Omokri, Caught Circulating Fraud Document
The reason I decided to report this story is because Reno Omokri is claiming to a pastor, one who is suppose to live above board. But he was the same person who championed the falsehood that former Minister of the FCT, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, got a N5billion contract from Sanusi Lamido at the CBN.
But it was later revealed that all the 10 different consultants the CBN engaged for the particular job did not get up to N5billion put together, not to talk of only El-Rufai's company getting that much. I just wonder why men no longer respect the title they carry these days as Pastor or any other spiritual title.
Now, the same Reno Omokri, Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, used a fake identity to circulate a report on the social media linking Sanusi Lamido to the killings by Boko Haram.
He didn't know that anyone would dig out the true identity of the author as he used a fake name...
But through the technical expertise of people like Feyi Fawehinmi and Abang Mercy, it was discovered that the false report, written by one Wendell Simlin was indeed written by the same Reno Omokri, with a computer registered to his name.
Once Mr. Reno Omokri who said he is a Pastor discovered that he has been caught red handed, he quickly go all the way to delete the said Wendell Simlin account on the Social Media. But the did has been done!
Now here is my worry: Why is it that President Jonathan finds it difficult to employ credible men to work for him? His SGF is known for Sleeping on duty. Many of his ministers are people with questionable characters in the eyes of the public and Nigerians have been calling for their sack. One of the new ministers he sent to the Senate for screening is a man standing trial for corruption and another is an accused in the murder of Nigeria's former Attorney-General.
Is it that there are no more credible people in Nigeria or Jonathan just love men/women with dirty garbage?

Footballer Samuel Eto's Baby Mama Exposes: He's 39 not 32
Sometime ago, I discovered that a friend of mine is playing under 21 in Nigeria and according to his data he is just 20yrs old. I was shocked! But I later discovered that it's called football age. If you try to expose the truth many people will hate you, they will say you are an "enemy of progress". So, the lies continue.

Lagos State Governor Fashola uses Billionaire to entice Ibeju Lekki Chiefs to Surrender Lands
Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola visited Ibeju Lekki residents today just days after authorizing police to force residents from their land.
Governor Fashola wants the area for the Lekki Free Zone project. Joining him was billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote, whom the Government is interested in persuading to use the site for a refinery and petrochemical project.
At the meeting local chiefs occupied front seats with the Dangote Group as well as other investors. A source said some of crowd had been rented to respond favorable to the speeches.
During the meeting the front seat occupants frequently cheered the remarks of the Governor and Mr. Dangote.
Ibeju Lekki residents occupied the rear seats.
Governor Fashola said he had to plead with Dangote to consider the area for his refinery rather than another area and stated the benefits of siting the project in Ibeju Lekki.
He asked the crowd whether they wanted the project in the area or not?
Residents in the back rows loudly voiced their opposition to the project which annoyed the Governor as their voices were too loud to be ignored. He threatened to deal with them if their opposition disturbed investors from commencing work on the site.
Mr. Aliko Dangote said his project will train about 9,000 engineers, but he didn't say whether community youth would benefit from the training.
Representative of the Ibeju Lekki Federal Constituency, Mr. Abayomi Abdul-Kabir Ayeola also cursed a member of the community while making his vote of thanks. This was in response to his question whether the community had seen the benefits (gifts to local chiefs) of the project and he was told they had not.
A source told Saharareporters, Governor Fashola and other officials of the Lekki Free Zone project met secretly with local chiefs and made them sign over the lands on behalf of their communities.
Another source said the community chiefs of Idasho and Idotun did not participate in the meeting but other representatives were paid by the Government to represent the chiefs without their consent.
Landlords/ladies told Saharareporters they were not opposed to development but they were never consulted, nor were they told of any plan for compensation or resettlement.
Another source said their local chief sold out lands in the community without the consent of residents.
"Sometime in 2008," one landlord said, "we were invited to Alausa … and they (Free Zone handlers) gave us N10,000 each. We were told it was for our transport, but they announced later that it was compensation for our lands."
"How can they give us N10,000 as compensation and ask us to quit our residences? Our chiefs compromised all through and they are the gluttons responsible for everything to happen from this crisis," he added.
After the meeting today, a source told Saharareporters, some members of the rented crowd were seen complaining they were not paid enough in their role of praising Dangote whenever he spoke.

PDP Thugs Caught With Guns in Rivers Released on The Orders of Patience Jonathan
According to Sahara Reporters, First Lady, Patience Jonathan, has secured the release of the 6 thugs who were arrested by the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Rivers State on January 3.
Police sources say the outgoing Commissioner of Police, Mr Joseph Mbu, who was redeployed on Thursday, ordered the release of the thugs, said to political allies of Senator George Sekibo and Hon. Evans Bipi, two days ago (Wednesday). Bipi is the legislator who was recently stopped by a court from parading himself as the Speaker of the Assembly.
Despite holding them, the partisan police commissioner did not charge the men to court. Other security agencies involved in the case revealed that Mbu kept telling them that investigations were still going on, only for most of them to find out that the dangerous criminals had actually been released by orders from Abuja on Wednesday. The six militia men were caught with AK47 rifles around Ekporo Road on their way to Ogu, the hometown of Senator Sekibo and Mr. Bibi.
They included Daniel Ibito-Anga, who parades himself and is known in Ogu
Bolo as Security Adviser/PA to Senator George Sekibo and Evans Bipi.
The others were listed as Sunday Elisha, Uche Jenikachi, Ibinabo Lawson,
and Okechukwu Okoro.
In addition to the rifles, the men also had 146 rounds of 7.62mm Special live ammunition and 10 magazines.
They were stopped on the basis of their suspicious movement as they
headed for Ogu Bolo area in an off white Land Rover jeep with
registration number JJ441BZ.
Sahara Reporters had authoritatively revealed on January 6 that Mrs. Jonathan ordered Mr. Mbu to release the suspects and to return to them the arms and ammunition that were found in their possession. Mbu could not comply with the order because the matter became public knowledge.
Sekibo and Bipi are known to be very close allies of Mrs. Jonathan and fighting for her in Rivers State.
The latest development could have severe implications not only for peace and security in Rivers State, but for Nigerian politics, and within the police, especially with Mbu taking a new job as Police head in Abuja.
Asked for the reaction of the Inspector General of Police, MD Abubakar to Mbu’s release of the thugs, an act that is in flagrant violation of the law, Police Force spokesman, Frank Mba, said he's not aware and added that he will get in touch with Rivers State command to confirm.

It’s the End of the Road for Windows XP and Office 2003!
Do
you remember when you first used a computer. It was e-machines. Very solid
system then; as were the many other tech brands that have been swept under the
carpet by more vibrant product brands over the years. The still image of a lush
green meadow that greeted you on th home screen after the usual Windows XP
loading bars and fast forward several years later, having to upgrade to Windows
Vista and so on.
Matter of fact, Vista was like a major break from the Windows norm and without entirely taking in its features, Windows 7 was launched and was good, not great. Then came Windows 8. Pure class.
Mastery of the art and science of technology. Such ease. Some people live for the upgrades! Why have some organizations like the very infamous Cyber Cafés, IT driven firms, etc.bluntly refused to upgrade to Windows 8?Are they really skeptical about testing new waters or would they rather stick to the status quo? Or is it because Microsoft still provides support for these old versions of the Windows Operating system? Well, all of that is about to change because, like it or not, global devices and services giant Microsoft has announced the official end of support for Windows XP, Windows XP Professional for Embedded Systems and Office 2003 by April 8, 2014 and therefore urges its customers and partners to migrate to Windows 8 and Office 2013 platform.

Now,
ending support in this context means that for Windows XP, Windows XP Professional
for Embedded Systems and Office 2003, partners and customers will no longer
receive security updates and technical support from Microsoft, which will
result in vulnerability to security threats.
According
to Oluyomi Alarape, Datacenter Solutions & Sales at Microsoft Nigeria, “There
are several re-engineering and attacks that needs to be catered for as a result
of the changing technology landscape. Businesses stand to have huge risks if
they do not migrate because there will be no security updates to meet security
requirements”
In
addition, Windows 8 provides mobile security through Bit locker, “Windows To Go”,
is a full version of Windows 8 on a USB stick which readily support BYOD “Bring
Your Own Device” initiatives.
Awawu
Olumide-Sojinrin, Acting Country Manager, Microsoft Nigeria while speaking at a
media briefing to announce end of support for the Windows XP and Office 2003 in
Lagos, explained that Microsoft is proactive in communicating changes that are
critical and important to our customers. As a result, she said Microsoft is
taking its time to notify its customers and partners ahead of the April 8 2014
deadline.
Windows
8 is Microsoft’s latest operating system for modern businesses, building on
Windows 7 fundamentals such as speed, reliability and security while creating a
modern platform for the new generation of hardware experiences from tablets and
innovative touch devices to traditional desktops and laptops.
So, as the sun sets for Windows
XP, Windows XP Professional for Embedded Systems and Office 2003 users with
April 2014 as the deadline for migration to the Windows 8 platform, there are
more benefits and featureslike Speedy Boot Time, Innovative & Dynamic Desktop, Improved
Search Function, Windows To Go, Windows Live Syncing, etc., which
help businesses bounce off of what to do with their older technology as they
look to protect valuable IP and customer information. So, how about we leave
Windows XP, Windows XP Professional and Office 2003 in the year 2013 and step
into the New Year 2014 with the Windows 8. Deal? Yes deal! Happy migration and happy New
Year!

Confusion in Osun state as students wear religious clothes to school
The Baptist High School, Iwo, Osun State was in a state of chaos and
confusion yesterday Tuesday Feb 4th as some students of the school
came into the school premises wearing their religious apparels such as
Hijab, choir
robes, white garments, fetish veils and Orunmila attires, ditching the
approved uniform by the state government. And later during their
assembly time, the students all sang songs that were associated with
their religious
beliefs.
According to reports, the students were registering their displeasure at the state government for the introduction of Unified School Uniforms for all schools irrespective of religious beliefs. The Christians who are owners of the school were protesting the new policy on education set by the state government that allows Muslim students to wear Hijab to Christian's mission public schools.
The new policy of school reclassification by the state government, which was introduced last year has been causing a lot of problems in the state, because it introduced the merger of most of schools, and because some of the schools are faith-based, there's chaos. The Christian schools do not want Muslim students wearing Hijab to school but the state govt has made it legal, thus the continued protest...

Former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Alhaja Ojikutu, Arrested For Fraud, To Appear In Court Today
The Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria
Police on Tuesday arrested a former Deputy
Governor of Lagos State, Alhaja Sinatu
Aderoju Ojikutu, and she will appear in court today in connection with fraudulently obtaining N130million from one Cajethan Okekearu.
Mrs. Ojikutu was declared wanted on June 19, 2013, but she went to court to halt police investigations, a suit that was thrown out by a judge a few weeks ago.
The SFU police spokesperson Ngozi Isintume- Agu said in a statement that Alhaja Ojikutu, 67, who was picked up at her Lagos Island residence, allegedly connived with one Samson Adebisi Ojikutu Jnr, her son, to commit the offence. Samson is currently in the United States.
According to the statement, the former deputy governor and her son "were parties to the sale of the land and both signed the agreement given to the Complainant and obtained the sum of N130 million from him."
The police said the suspect admitted the crime but explained it as a genuine mistake of plot identification. She then refunded the sum of N50 million to the complainant and promised to refund the balance as soon as she had disposed of two other properties she had put up for sale.
The statement further said Mrs. Ojikutu has
confessed that she injected the complainant's money into her business.
"She equally made an undertaking and
payment plan which was drawn from
September, 2012 and was to terminate by
November 2012, but she defaulted due to lack of fund."
The police further said the deal unraveled
when Okekearu, on the verge of completion of development of the land, was accosted by the bona fide owner of the property and it was established that the land that the suspect had sold actually belonged to one Mr. Afolabi.
"It was also discovered that the Plot 24 Block 4, which actually belonged to Late Samson Adebisi Ojikutu Snr, the suspect's husband who died in 2008 was sold by him in 1995 and the suspect was a life witness and appended her signature to the sale of the land. A financial institution (name withheld) which was in possession of the CofO after payment was fully made also tendered the original CofO which the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State had earlier declared missing and even sworn an affidavit to."
The statement recalled that Alhaja Ojikutu
had sued the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, SFU, and the
complainants, asking the court to restrain the police from further investigations and
violations of her fundamental rights.
"The ruling by Justice Obadina (Mrs) on 17th
December 2013, dismissed the Suit for lack of merit, that the Nigeria Police has the power to prosecute the Applicants, Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu and her son, Sampson Adebisi Ojikutu (Jnr) since the Police investigation revealed that there is prima-facie case of obtaining by false pretences against them and added that the court will not interfere or restrain the Police in carrying out their statutory function," the statement said.

The former deputy governor will be arraigned at the Federal High Court in Lagos Today
