Ignore The Rumours, Muna Obiekwe Is Alive

OMG, so some websites have been carrying rumours that popular actor, Muna Obiekwe is dead. As a matter of fact, we have been trying to reach Nollywood practitioners to find out how true the news is before the actor came online to debunk it. Thank God he is alive. Here's what he said;

(Removed) exclusively reports that the actor passed away in the afternoon of Sunday, January 18, 2015 in a hospital in Festac, Lagos.
Obiekwe had been battling with kidney disease for a long time which he reportedly kept secret from his colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

His condition deteriorated in recent times, which eventually led to his death. A reliable source who spoke with The Trent said Obiekwe was rushed to the hospital on Sunday morning after he was found vomiting at home. Unfortunately he lost the battle and passed away in the hospital.

This is a very sad loss for Nollywood. May his soul rest in peace.
