Four suspects have been arrested in connection
with the Saturday, February 7 kidnapping of the father former Governor
of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Dariye.
Pa Defwange Dariye was reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.
On
that fateful day, the kidnappers numbering about nine, stormed Dariye's
country home in Mushere, Bokkos local government area of the state, at
about 7.30pm and whisked away the 80-year-old man.
The 80-year-old has however been found and four suspects have been arrested.
Pa Defwange Dariye was found in Quaanpan Local Government Area of the state in the morning of Friday, February 13.
The
kidnappers reportedly released him after much pressure from SSS
operatives who have been on their trail following them from Plateau to
Nasarawa states.
According to reports, the $10 million ransom which was requested by the kidnappers was not paid.
