Tunisia face Afcon 2017 expulsion, refuse to apologise to CAF

Tunisia
Tunisia risk being expelled from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament after refusing to apologise to CAF for their behaviour against Equatorial Guinea.
The Tunisians were aggrieved with a last-minute penalty decision by Mauritian referee Rajindraparsad Seechurn and reportedly vandalised items in their changeroom following the match, which the host nation went on to win 2-1 in extra time.

Tunisia were fined $50 000 and Seechurn was sent home from Equatorial Guinea and delisted from the CAF ‘A’ Elite Referees panel for six months.
CAF also ordered Tunisia to pay the cost of the damages they caused at Estadio de Bata and to send a letter of apology for "insinuations of bias and lack of ethics against CAF and its officials, or to present irrefutable evidence to substantiate the accusations" before midnight on Thursday.
However, Tunisia rejected this after a meeting of the federation's executive committee in Tunis on Wednesday.
"Our investigation into the affair and the opinion of neutrals is that we suffered scandalous injustice from referees, not only in the match against Equatorial Guinea but right from the start of the tournament. We will explain all of this to CAF at a meeting," TFF committee member Hichem Ben Omrane was quoted as saying.
